Every great romance novel has its readers.

Sometimes they just haven't found each other yet.

Series 9 Studio was created to connect readers with their next favorite romance book, because I genuinely believe one great romance read can be more powerful than ten self-help books. The right story can change how we see ourselves, remind us what's possible, and stay with us long after the final page.

I design website templates specifically for romance authors so they can spend less time wrestling with tech and more time doing what they do best: writing stories that make us laugh, cry, kick our feet, and stay up way too late reading another kitchen or locker room scene.

Person Behind S9S

I’m Erica, the person behind Series 9 Studio.

Romance reader, recovering corporate burnout baddie, website designer, smut romance enthusiast, lover of coffee and sparkling water, and the woman who read more than 100 books in six months with still so much left on her TBR.

You'll usually find me reading hockey romance, baseball romance, workplace romance, sapphic romance, billionaire romance, dark romance, forbidden romances, and more romance (can you tell I love romance?). Give me found family, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, only one bed, protective heroes, strong heroines, and a happily ever after, and I'm probably adding it to my cart immediately.

Romance books have taught me more about self-love, courage, identity, vulnerability, and hope than any self-help book ever could. They've also shown me the power of seeing yourself represented on the page, escaping into another world for a few hours, and finding communities built around stories people can't stop talking about.

That's why I created Series 9 Studio, to combine my knowledge of operations and designs with my love of romance books and help authors connect readers with stories that may actually change their lives.
