1. Services

Series 9 Studio provides custom website design and related services for authors. All services are outlined in individual proposals, invoices, or service descriptions. Scope, timelines, and deliverables are defined per project and may vary based on client needs.

2. Project Engagement & Scope

Each project begins with a clearly defined scope. Any work requested outside of the agreed scope may require an additional fee and timeline adjustment. We value clarity and communication and will always discuss changes before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project start date.

  • Remaining balances are due according to the payment schedule outlined in your invoice or proposal.

  • Work will not begin, continue, or be delivered until payments are received as agreed.

  • Late payments may result in paused work or delayed delivery.

4. Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our work, all payments are non-refundable. Once work has begun, time, strategy, and design resources are committed specifically to your project.

5. Revisions

Each service package includes a set number of revision rounds, as outlined in your proposal. Revisions are intended to refine agreed-upon work—not redesign the project entirely. Requests beyond the included revisions may incur additional fees.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth project experience, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and timely information, content, and feedback

  • Respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe

  • Respect agreed timelines and boundaries

Delays in communication or content delivery may impact project timelines.

7. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you are granted full rights to the final website design for personal and business use. Series 9 Studio retains the right to display completed work in portfolios, case studies, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Series 9 Studio is not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms, tools, plugins, hosting providers, or software integrations. While we design with best practices in mind, we cannot guarantee performance, uptime, or updates outside of our control.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the project with written notice. If termination occurs after work has begun, all completed work up to that point will be invoiced and retained by Series 9 Studio.

10. No Guarantees

While we design websites intended to support book sales, readership growth, and user experience, Series 9 Studio does not guarantee specific financial outcomes, sales numbers, or audience growth. Success depends on many factors beyond website design.

11. Limitation of Liability

Series 9 Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

12. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We respect your information and handle it with care.

13. Updates to Terms
